VACANCY FOR ADMIN ASSISTANT.
Required from September 2009, an enthusiastic and committed Admin Assistant to join our team and help us take the school forward.
The school is a one-form entry village school with high expectations and a willingness to try new ideas. The post is to support the school’s Admin Officer, and the successful candidate would be expected to develop their roles and responsibilities within the educational administration environment.
This post is for one term initially, but we anticipate that it could become permanent. This is a part-time position for 10 hours per week, normally 9am to 11am on weekdays, though some flexibility in covering for the Admin Officer at other times would be very useful.

Hutton Cranswick school has been on its present site since 1873, and although many changes have taken place over the years the philosophy for our school remains the same.
We aim to provide the best possible start for children in the village and the surrounding villages. As the development of personal transport has increased we have been able to attract children from a wider area.
We actively promote our links within the village community, playing we think a vital role in the continued success of the village and the local area. We are also keen to promote a healthy lifestyle, and are currently completing our Healthy Schools Award.
Hutton Cranswick currently has 153 children on roll. There are 7 classes (one for each year-group) and the children are aged from 4 to 11. The majority of our children move to the secondary school in Driffield when they leave our year 6.
